New! Foundation Center Webinars

Dear Cooperating Collection Supervisor:

In case you haven't yet noticed, we have now added free webinars to our online educational offerings for the public. You will find a full three-month calendar of webinars in the
View Events section of our web site. Click on any date and a description and registration form will pop up.

These one-hour webinars, led by our staff experts, cover essential topics for nonprofit grantseekers, such as introduction to fundraising planning, finding funders (with Foundation Directory Online), and grantseeking basics. We recommend them as refreshers for you and your staff and for those who use your collection. Introduced just a few months ago, they have already proven very popular with our web audiences.

One option that several CC supervisors have asked about is to offer a Foundation Center webinar at your collection to a group of attendees in your own meeting room. If you want to do this, please contact me. We have determined that sponsoring a Foundation Center webinar in this way will count toward the Center's standard of operation that requires our CCs to hold at least two public workshops each year.
