Patricia Pasqual Named Director of Foundation Center's Washington, DC, Office
April 28, 2008
Dear Cooperating Collection Supervisor:
I'm delighted to inform you that Patricia Pasqual has returned to the Foundation
Center for her second stint as director of our Washington, DC office. Many of
our veteran supervisors will recall Pat from her early days as director of
our Cleveland office or from her prior tenure at our office in DC from 1994
to 1999. In the interim Pat has served in several capacities with the
District of Columbia public library system, and she brings that experience
and her many contacts in the DC area to her new position.
Pat replaces Anita Plotinsky, who served as director of our DC office for
the past seven years and has left to start her own consulting business. Those
of you in the greater DC region are no doubt also familiar with Janice
Rosenberg, senior librarian, who has been our point person working with
Cooperating Collections for many years and served ably in an interim role
between Anita's departure and Pat's arrival.
For more details about Pat and her background,
please refer to the
press release. Those of you planning to attend Network Days in Cleveland will
get to meet (or renew your acquaintance with) Pat in person, since she
has graciously agreed to attend and will be facilitating a panel discussion
on building community relationships.
Please join me in expressing delight at Pat's return to home base!
Sincerely,
Kief Schladweiler
